Victor Rubino founded Ultimate Nutrition in 1979. Victor was at the top of the amateur power lifting circuit in the United State. Victor quickly realized that the supplements that were available to him were not of the best quality. They did not give him the energy he wanted, the performance he needed or the endurance it took to push through rigorous workouts. After much deliberation, Victor decided to start his own company and create a supplement that met all of his and other power lifters needs. He decided that he would create a high quality product that was affordable for just about any budget. Out of sheer determination and ambition, Ultimate Nutrition was born.

Ultimate Nutrition quickly took off. By the early 1980's, the company was producing protein powders, Amino Acid tablets, carbohydrate powders and many other great supplements. By the time, the 1990's hit Ultimate Nutrition was one of the original manufactures of Whey Protein powder that was available in a bottle. This was a cutting edge product that left other sources of Whey Protein powder in the dust. Today the company has not stopped being innovative in their product manufacturing.
